There is no elevator on the Fjord Line Express and we recommend that wheelchair users and disabled people stay on Deck 1, because the only access to Comfort Class is via a long staircase.

Mobile phones on board
Mobile phone coverage on board MV Bergensfjord and Fjord Line Express is provided by Maritime Communications Partner (MCP), an international GSM network operator. The MCP network relays your telephone calls via the ship’s satellite connection. Your calls are actually transmitted via a satellite 35,800 kilometers above the Earth!
The network is available when the ship is at sea. You will notice that your phone will show either ‘MCP’ or ‘901 12’ on the display. If the ship is sailing close to shore, you may be connected to a land-based operator. In order to make a call, remember to dial the international access code (‘+’ or ‘00’) and the country code before dialing the phone number (e.g. ‘+ 44 12345678’ for a call to England).
The service is charged via your mobile phone service provider at a rate similar to international rates. For exact pricing, please check with your mobile phone service provider.
Physically challenged passengers
Due to our strong emphasis on passenger safety, it important that we are fully notified of the type and degree of disability of our passengers. That is why these bookings may not be made online. There is no elevator on Fjord Line Express, and we recommend that wheelchair users and other passengers with physical disabilities remain on Deck 1 because the only access to Comfort Class is by a long staircase.
