If you're interested in art, a visit to the newly opened Munch Museum should be your first stop – perhaps followed by a visit to the Nasjonalgalleriet, which opens in a new building in summer 2022. Vigelandsparken also attracts with its 212 sculptures, which have made the park one of Norway's most visited attractions.



If you want to feel the wings of history, visit the Viking Ship Museum or Akershus Fortress – or perhaps the Fram Museum, where you can get an insight into life as a polar explorer more than 100 years ago.



If you want to do some shopping and have a good time, the famous main street Karl Johan is a mecca of exciting shops and plenty of good food.
