Kjeragbolten
Kjerag is still one of Norway’s iconic hiking trails, not least because of its fascinating round boulder, Kjeragbolten, which sits firmly stuck between two cliff walls high in the air.
Tonstadbadet
Tonstadbadet is the perfect destination for rainy day. Here you’ll find a heated 12.5 long and 3.5 metre deep pool with diving boards, several wellness and children’s pools and a steam room.
Slottet
One of Sirdal’s newest features is the Slottet restaurant, which is situated at one of the area’s most beautiful viewpoints, Hoppmannsknuten. The restaurant offers exquisite dishes based on seasonal ingredients from the local area.

Mountain Cart
One of the most popular summer and autumn activities in Sirdal is Mountain Cart. Visitors of all ages will get their blood flowing and crank up their excitement level when they sit behind the handlebars of the “oversized” three-wheeled bikes and race down the ski slope.

Dorgefossen
Dorgefossen between Omlid and Handeland is called Sirdal’s “1,000 year old place”. The waterfall is now regulated and smaller than before, but the sharp rocks and glistening water are still an impressive sight.

Here you can get up close and personal with the playful and charming dogs, go on a sled ride across the mountain or take a ‘mountain hike with huskies’, with the dogs carrying the gear and packed lunches as you hike to one of the area’s most stunning mountaintops.
