A cruise is an enjoyable and relaxing way to experience Norway’s magnificent nature, whether your destination is one of the spectacular fjords in Fjord Norway or an idyllic lake in the mountains.

Here are a number of suggestions for different cruises in Norway, which are guaranteed to give you memories for life.

Stavanger and Preikestolen

If you’re taking a trip to Stavanger, you can enjoy some of Norway’s most breathtaking natural settings on a fjord cruise to the jewel in Lysefjorden’s crown: Preikestolen (The Pulpit Rock). On this cruise, you’ll take in the panoramic view of a whole host of experiences in nature, from the fabled Fantahålå cave, past Hengjanefossen, where you can taste the fresh water from the waterfall, and to the absolute highlight of the trip: the majestic Preikestolen, which towers high above Lysefjorden’s crystal clear water.

Bergen and Mostraumen

Spoil yourself with a long weekend to Bergen – and enjoy an idyllic fjord cruise on Osterfjorden’s picture-perfect water. The trip through the long Osterfjord offers steep mountainsides, impressive waterfalls, and the strong current in the narrow Mostraumen passage, until the boat reaches the turning point at Modalen, which is Norway’s second-smallest municipality with just 380 inhabitants.

Flåm and Nærøyfjorden

Step on board the electric ferry that embarks from Flåm and let yourself be enchanted by the natural surroundings in Aurlandsfjorden and the UNESCO-protected Nærøyfjord.Along the way, you’ll get a fantastic view of smaller passages between steep mountainsides, spectacular waterfalls, charming small buildings, isolated farms, and the idyllic village of Undredal, which inspired the town of Arendelle in the Frozen films.
