Welcome on board MS Stavangerfjord

Fjord Line's modern eco-friendly ship MS Stavangerfjord operates the Hirtshals-Stavanger-Bergen, Hirtshals-Kristiansand routes and the domestic route between Bergen and Stavanger.

MS Stavangerfjord was launched in 2013 and, along with its sister ship MS Bergensfjord, has written international shipping history. Both ships were built by Bergen Group Fosen and they are the largest cruise ferries in the world to be run entirely on green gas (LNG).

Enjoy a delicious meal

You can choose whether to enjoy a meal in our à la carte Restaurant Grieg, our large buffet restaurant, perhaps a simpler bite in the cafeteria or at the café on the top deck.

For that extra bit of comfort during your crossing, we recommend that you book a seat in the Fjord Lounge. The lounge is perfect for anyone who wants to get the most out of their trip with Fjord Line, whether for just relaxing or getting some work done while travelling. The chairs are very comfortable and you can enjoy a fantastic sea view in a cosy atmosphere. Hot and cold drinks are included when you book a seat in the lounge, and if you get hungry you can order both lunch and dinner from a separate menu. The Fjord Lounge is open 7 am to 7 pm.

We invest in environmental technology

Fjord Line is proud that its sister ships MS Stavangerfjord and MS Bergensfjord were the first and largest cruise ferries in the world to sail solely on environmentally friendly natural gas.

The ships are now powered by dual fuel engines that can easily and flexibly switch between LNG and MGO. Our ambition is to sail as much as possible on the environmentally friendly natural gas LNG and to be a sustainable travel alternative.

Free internet

On our ships, free internet is offered to all guests during the crossing. Please note that internet quality may vary at sea.
